Words to Inspire you and me

It is a unique time in our history, the rise of the internet and computer technology have contributed to an unparalleled rate of growth. But crises looms, a global recession, growing poverty, rampant violence, corruption in politics, and threats to personal freedom. With the growth of the Internet age, something unexpected is happening. We have begun telling each other our own stories. Sharing our lives, our hopes, our dreams, our demons. Every second, day in day out, into all hours of the night the gritty details of life on this earth are streaming around the world. As we see the lives of others played out in our living rooms we are beginning to understand the consequences of our actions and the error of the old ways. We are questioning the old assumptions that we are made to consume not to create, that the world was made for our taking, that wars are inevitable, that poverty is unavoidable. As we learn more about our global community a fundamental truth has been rediscovered: We are different. Every human has strengths, weaknesses, and deep emotions. We crave love, love laughter, fear being alone and dream for a better life. An age of sharing ideas and cooperation. An age of artistic and personal expression. We can choose to use new technology for radical positive change or let it be used against us. We can choose to keep the internet free, keep channels of communication open and dig new tunnels into those places where information is still guarded. Or we can let it all close in around us. As we move in to new digital worlds, we must acknowledge the need for honest information and free expression. We must fight to keep the internet open as a marketplace of ideas where all are seated as equals. We must defend our freedoms from those who would seek to control us. We must fight for those who do not yet have a voice. Keep telling your story. All must be heard

AS YOU THINK...
One of the major truths I've come to concur with is that your Mind is a major tool to shape your life. Infact, whatever controls your mind is also controlling your life. I have overtime seen how the contents of a person's mind shows in their dressing, style of speech, choice of relationship etc. So, you know now why you must guard your mind with every soul security technique there is.
I recall trying out an experiment on a Dog sometime back. I went to where it was always chained and I loosened the chain from the tree it was held to, though other end of the chain was still hooked to its neck. Despite not being hooked to the tree again, it sat and lay there as though my action was of no effect. It reminded me of how our Mindset can keep us against God's will and action for us. Faulty beliefs that we've grown to be familiar with can be injurious, especially when God chooses another format to do things.
As you think, so are you! I set that dog free, but it was thinking it wasn't free, so it remained 'unfree'! Wow! See how little misconceptions can unleash hell over a person's life. Check your mental faculty now and be sure there's no thought-inflicted delay in you. May your mind be illuminated for total expansion in Jesus name! Your paths are shining like a thousand Suns henceforth! God bless You!

This is a very deep post and it encourages one to pause and reconsider our actions in this age.I'm definitely sharing this!

I prolly say 'God bless the internet' at least twice a day. It has its cons no doubt, but its potential for communication, self expression and learning are unlimited!

Thank you, I have recently been looking for facts about this question for a while and yours is the best I have found so far.

In this era of Social Media...everyone has someting to say, everyone has a voice
Be it wrong, false, misleading, twisted, ridiculous, abusive, racist, condescending or flat out stupid.
It's time to start preaching social media etiquette and mannerism...
1 Words hurt (whether spoken or typed)...if you won't take it, don't give it
2 The fact that people share a different view about a thing, doesn't make them fools...it's one of what makes us human
3 If you haven't confirmed it, don't forward it
4 Be careful of comments on pictures with people you don't know...even if your friend posted it/was tagged in it
5 Let your words be tender, don't just blurt things out...you may have to swallow them
6 If you claim to be a Born Again Christian, let your online personality be "Born Again" too
7 Above all, social media is one of the things we will give account of...don't think it doesn't concern God
